no matter how many times you check craigslist missed connections, you actually have to physically leave your house in order to have any chance at getting one.
and leaving your house to go to work doesn't count.

There has got to be something more validating in your life on the daily than a potential missed connection. For example: Your admirers are on a less creepy level for not posting something publicly. That is way more validating than an unabashed (and passive-aggressive!) creep writing to the world in vague terms about you instead of just... talking to you.

i just noticed myself checking MC's and i went "wait a minute, you haven't been out of the house!"
but yeah, i mean.. it's not really serious.
I know I know. I'm sorry you didn't get any MCs for the night you were decked out with a tie and everything. But... none of us did.
