i'm on a blogging spree today, but i had to share.

a lot of times, i have a hard time reconciling my faith and undying love for jesus christ with my love of the hedonistic satan-worshipping guitar hero. each time i touch one of the four colored buttons, i am diving further and further into a world of sin, torment, and anguish for my eternal soul.

just take a look at this devil-worshipper:

well, FINALLY someone invented something that i can finally fully support. it's GUITAR PRAISE! the CHRISTIAN ROCK version of guitar hero! soon i'll be "rockin' with the best while praising the Lord" according to their website.

SO AWESOME!

*sigh*

Haha, so amazing. Yes, I think Guitar Hero is like 93458234 times more evil than the real deal heavy metal. As usual, Christians have preemptively declared that they can't make something just as good as non-Christians, so they have to create their own genre. Ridiculous.

i've been OBSESSED with this all week because, in general, i'm somewhat unnerved by what the above commenter succinctly described as "[Christians creating] their own genre" for everything. yet i find this specific product HILARIOUS. i was referred from someone who was surprised there weren't enough "popular" performers (listing Sufjan Stevens as an example) but i actually recognized nearly all of the bands AND songs (thanks, church rock band in high school!) also, without it, i might have gone my entire life without knowing that Family Force 5 is not JUST "crossover crunk" but also a Christian rock group. i guess blowing them off all these years at Warped Tour has kept me in the dark.
