after i bought all those records, i checked my bank account online.
over the past few months, i have racked up a little credit card debt (under $2000). anyway, it's 60% paid off. i made a payment last week for about $500 to put a dent in it. after a few days i noticed it didn't go through, so i thought i did it wrong. so i did it again.
well turns out both times worked just fine. (whoops!)
now i have only $40 left on my credit card. (yay paying off credit debt!)
but hardly anything is left in my savings which is really my only safety net. (boo!)
so i have accomplished one goal, but a lot faster and a lot scarier than i had intended. now i need to start building my savings back up PRONTO.
new rule: stop spending so much goddamn money.
the things i have going in my favor:
- no more weddings
- no planned extensive traveling
- there's a few paychecks left between me and christmas
so if i ask you to go out and do something moderately expensive, try and stop me, okay?

Man... You'll kick yourself now but thank yourself later for that mistake... it's in your favor in the long run.
Newer rules: Ramen noodles, stripping. Then you can spend all the money you want. 123GO!
And remember...
:)
