i hope some of you are familiar with the "shreds" videos on youtube. they're one of my favorite ridiculous things on the internet. some dude decided to take actual live videos of bands and then replace the audio with him playing ridiculously awful shit. however, it's so well done it actually LOOKS like what they're playing.
the amount of TIME it must have taken for this guy to do this is ridiculous, but it pays off because it is truly hilarious.
you have to watch it to get what i'm saying.
one of my all-time favorites is this santana one, but these two new ones i found take the cake.

The NIN one absolutely kills me with hilarity and awkward / embarrassment transfers, through and through. The opening to Slipknot... holy crap.
These are so reliable for a good laugh. :)
These are good, but the Santana one is still my favorite. Go find the comments where Santana fans try to defend his "avant garde" sensibilities, totally missing that it's a joke.
