update.

so i'm on week #2 of the new job.

still loving it. yesterday, i went on my first food photoshoot. i can safely say this is something i never thought i'd participate in. i watched as a food stylist lovingly did detail work on breakfast food, making sure each contour was perfect and every crumb perfectly in place.

amazing. and ridiculous.

things are definitely getting busier as i've started being brought in on projects, so that's great too.

my only issue is that i'm TIRED. i've been staying up too late doing stupid shit. monday night kenny invited me out for karaoke. i was desperately in need of a distraction, so i went and we ended up having a great time. i had some delicious beer and sang some hits. liz and mary were on hand too and everyone sang, which was especially awesome since liz had never done karaoke before.

last night i stayed up late doing something totally stupid. i had laughed so hard at the previous video i posted, "play him off, keyboard cat!" that i decided i needed to participate in the meme myself. here was my contribution that i made:



this was definitely one of the creepiest videos i've ever seen on the internet, so i thought it needed the keyboard cat treatment.

i also watched the fifth element, which is totally campy, but AMAZING. love that movie.
