Careful with the weight limit of said deck. I've got a pretty sweet pool that is 8 feet in diameter and 3 feet high and after it's full it weighs at least two tons.
You should look into "fast set" brand pools. They come with a filter and cover and it's a chlorinatable pool. I had mine up for 4 months last summer and never had to do anything besides add chlorine and get the bugs out.
This person knew a lot about pools! Well take her info and this and GET ONE. This is a beautiful plan!

Yeah, we had a great time with the fam in VA! And funny enough, I did think about you quite a bit while we were there. I had no idea that you were busy breaking your face at the time! Me and my three kids should have come to keep you company in your hospital room! Then you'd REALLY want some painkillers! Ü
