give thanks.

it's thanksgiving and i'm home sweet home.

i'm sitting in my den right now, enjoying the shocking technological advancement going on in my childhood home. for the very first time, we are wi-fi capable. while my parents are watching E.R., i get to hang out and type up a blog. love it.

today was a really nice day.

the family all gathered in fredericksburg today at my aunt's house. it was nice to see all the relatives as i binged on all the excellent thanksgiving food. after the dust settled at the thanksgiving table, we hung out for a few more hours and then i made the drive up here to springfield.

i've been home for a few hours and it's been nice so far. i'm not too wild about watching E.R. i've found my tolerance for blood/surgery/hospital related imagery is somewhat lower these days. yikes.

so anyway, i hope you all had a wonderful thanksgiving with your loved ones. i am so thankful to have all my family and friends and all the support they've shown to me over this difficult year. if you're one of those people and you're reading this right now, i hope you know how much i appreciate it.
