okay, this is an epic downer post, but these things need to be thought about.
what song do you want played at your funeral?
i've given this some thought and ideally i would like to have a choir sing "lux arumque" by eric whitacre.
now, it's going to be kinda tough to get a choir on short notice who already knows the song, so this is going to kinda hinge on the fact that i'll be famous by the time i die. that way, using my vast connections through my fame, i'll have choirs jumping at the chance to sing.
ideally, it would be a state funeral, so it could be in a huge room with great acoustics. i am not sure what i can do between now and my death to help me obtain a state funeral, but i'm going to do my best. i think i might need to run for office or something.
anyway, here's the song. it's fucking amazing.

"Cum On Feel the Noise" by Quiet Riot
(It's really important to me there's as little sadness as possible.)
body in a box by city and colour is the only thing that comes to mind for me.
ive thought about this before, about that song, so i guess that it would be that.
Man. That is gorgeous music. Now that you've completed your robot, please start updating your status about your journey to big-deal-ness to have this state funeral. :)
Me and my funeral. Hrm. Beirut's "Scenic World." I dunno, I've never thought about a funeral song really, but this song is on right now and felt right. Or maybe Talking Heads' "Once in a lifetime".
I want it to have some kind of awesome movie ending kind of song... or something like the feel of the Amelie soundtrack.
Really people should just dance afterwards, otherwise it's awkward. Kind of like watching a wedding. That's really awkward without a dance party afterwards. Funerals need closure too!
"hells bells" by ac/dc. totally. on repeat if the situation allows.

"Disintegration"-The Cure
I picked this one out years ago.
