i don't know what happened to my brain today, but i am SOOO NOT WORKING.
i don't think i've had a day this unproductive in months.
here's my day:
- look at to-do list
- look at screen
- sigh
- ichat someone about something unimportant
- check various internet sites (blog, twitter, facebook, e-mail, washingtonpost)
- look at to-do list again
- do one thing on to-do list
- cross off item with great satisfaction
- look at to-do-list
- look at screen
- sigh
repeat till 6:00pm.
tonight, in my personal non-work life, i plan to be very productive. i have much preparing to do for various life things. i also plan to play my neglected autoharp a little more tonight. i broke it out over the weekend and had a lot of fun with it.
i'm telling you, if i can find the right girl with the right voice with the right guitar, we're going to make the best damn ida cover band you've ever heard.
you may not have ever heard an ida cover band though, so that's a pretty easy statement to make.

I don't know how we not once ever got together to tinker with instruments and voices... weird, that.
That breakdown of your day is pretty much my day everyday... then once a week I totally freak out and spend 8 hours playing catch-up. It's hard to be productive when work is so un-motivating...
ps - I totally play a folky-accoustic guitar and sing my little folk-pop heart out on a regular basis! I have never listened to much Ida... but I could start!
Now, that would be some motivating work.. yes, sir.
