oh, my blogger friend... I'm so the red-shirted stick figure today.
Question: is the National a good venue down there in Richmond? I'm thinking about driving down there to see The Decemberists in June because is WAY cheaper than Merriweather and would be the same length of drive... but I've never been to the National and don't know if it's any good.
oh man. it's totally amazing. HIGHLY recommend going there. it's general admission, but i don't think there's a bad place to stand in the whole room.
a lot more intimate than merriweather too.
