oh man. word on the street is that someone got laid off today in the dallas office.
news traveled like wildfire via ichat. it's the news we'd been kinda expecting to hear for a few weeks now. the assumption is, of course, that this will not be the only one.
i'm trying to keep a positive outlook. i'm talented, i'm cheap... but that doesn't necessarily mean anything.
we'll see what happens, of course.
it doesn't help that the head of my team sent me an ichat asking her to call her, which has only happened maybe 4-5 times since i've been back at my agency. i pretty much took a deep breath, expected the worse, and gave her a call - turns out she needed to know how to download photos into this program. PHEW!
