greetings blog world.
i've been a bit remiss lately with my blog updates, opting mostly for posting amazing youtube videos instead of writing anything.
the fact is, there just hasn't been that much to say.
work's been quiet. life in general has been quiet. record label ambitions have been quiet.
i decided this past week that i am going to try to grow my beard long. not really trying to go for a permanent civil war era beard look, but just want to see what i would look like. i feel like i should try at least once, and there's no real reason not to give it a go. i make no promises about whether or not i keep the beard length, but we'll see what happens. growing a beard long is a pretty effortless task to accomplish, so i feel like i shouldn't have too many issues. i'll keep you posted.
i have also had this crazy urge to buy a new HDTV lately. prices are so low right now. however, after a careful review of my financial documents, i have decided i am not in the market. the thing is - i could easily do financing, and i know i could pay that shit off in about 4-6 months, but i don't know if i want to put myself in that position right now. especially now that i am finally sorting my shit out somewhat financially. i'm not saying i'm totally closed to the idea, but i think waiting a few months is in my best interest. i mostly blame bill for the HDTV fever. he's always talking about the latest gadgets and technology and it's hard not to get caught up in it sometimes.
my weekend was nice. it consisted of kc birthday celebrating, a lot of hanging around the house, beating GTA4 (finally), watching lots of weeds on netflix, going to the gym (!!!), and watching ian and adam eat somewhere in the ballpark of 120 all-you-can-eat crab legs. the highlight was definitely the crab legs. the idea of eating crab in that fashion disgusts me so much that i thought i might have trouble watching, but i was too much in awe of their carnage. it's like when you watch a nature video of a predator devouring some cuter smaller animal - it's sad and gross to watch, but you're enraptured by the beauty of it at the same time. i opted for the less predatorial CRAB CAKES, which were pretty tasty and didn't involve any of the carnage.
that's about it for an update.
stay tuned for more youtube videos. haha.
